Capturing the elegance of the countryside was the vision Amanda had, as well as expressing their fun personalities. Flying in from San Diego, it was to be a destination wedding for her and Glenn, and she wanted to highlight the regional beauty by choosing local, seasonal flowers. And do a bit of hiking – the shots of the couple at Devil’s Lake set the tone for a real adventure wedding.
With Malibu blue bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal as a counterpoint, the couple chose deep purples, plums, wine, and burgundy as the colors to focus on for the bouquets. Whimsical texture, airy and fun – the bouquets and corresponding hair flowers really brought the couple’s fun personality to the forefront. A cluster of hair flowers for Amanda and a fairy crown of purple lisianthus for the cherubic flower girl, along with with a basket of fresh flower petals to toss down the aisle. Amanda was completely smitten with her flowers – especially her bouquet. Look at her delight! So much joy and laughter – it’s contagious. And immortalized in these photographs to mark the day forever.
